Magpie’s is proud to announce the Lori Weavers has earned her PGK (Pretty Good Knitter) Degree and is officially the boss of her yarn!
how did she attain this great feat you ask? Well, following the Learn-To-Knit Afghan Book by Barbara G. Walker. She, along with other knitters in our Thursday Afternoon Technique Plunge, have been exploring many different knitting techniques to enhance their knitting skills.
Lori completed her afghan with a variety of great fibers in fall color tones. Her piece of work is absolutely breathtaking. Great job Lori!
This group continues to meet every other Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and is open to anyone who purchases the book, Learn-To-Knit Afghan Book ($19.99) and at least three skeins of yarn fro Magpie’s Cottage to get started.
Note: This group will meet directly before Thursday Night Stitch Together (free), so please stay and enjoy knitting at the cottage.
