Alpine Sunset Shawl

By Helen Stewart

Alpine Sunset is a picture postcard of a shawl, inspired by winter views in the mountains.  We have added a little extra sparkle with BEADS.

This shawl is a cozy crescent shape, perfect for wrapping yourself up against the evening’s chill as you watch the sun sink out of sight behind the ridge. It features simple lace and chevrons that call to mind pine trees and peaks outlined across the glow of a winter sky.

Date: Tuesdays April 18 and May 2, 2017   5:30 to 7:30

Skill Level: Comfortable Knitter.  Must know how to knit, purl, increase and decrease.

Cost: $45

Materials Needed:  100g of fingering weight yarn
2 tubes of Toho Beads
32” or 40” Size US 6 circular needle
