Alpine Sunset is a picture postcard of a shawl, inspired by winter views in the mountains. We have added a little extra sparkle with BEADS.
This shawl is a cozy crescent shape, perfect for wrapping yourself up against the evening’s chill as you watch the sun sink out of sight behind the ridge. It features simple lace and chevrons that call to mind pine trees and peaks outlined across the glow of a winter sky.

Knitting socks can quickly become a favorite pastime. You will learn to knit in the round using 2 circular needles. I will be showing you my favorite socks to knit and wear. We will start with the Cast On, one that is stretchy enough so that your socks goes on easy. We will make a heel flap and gusset, so you have a nice fitting heel. Finally we finish with the Kitchener Stitch on the toe.
This is the first time we will do a sock class in only one session. Then when if you get stuck, you can just drop into the store for additional help at your convenience. Please give me your feedback on this.

So if you are a knitter and want to learn an additional skill for putting edges on afghans, blankets or even sweaters, consider this class.

This is not a class to make a hat. Rather it is a class to learn the magic loop. I think the best way to learn magic loop is by making a hat. So just bring in your favorite yarn with an appropriate needle for it.
You can come to work on your favorite hand-stitching. This can be knitting, crocheting or sewing. This will give you a chance to visit with other people who like to stitch as much as you do. Will meet every Friday Afternoon (except for Holidays).
See you Friday!
